Warm Waves Coffee is the evolution of our family’s coffee journey. I started home roasting years ago and became passionate about fresh roasted coffee. For over a decade I roasted for friends and family, always searching for great coffees. Then my daughter was called to serve after high school through the World Race gap year mission program. Fundraising deadlines were set and the most logical idea was to give our coffee as a thank you to those that gave towards Brooke’s fundraising. We also began selling our coffee at our local farmers market on weekends.
With the support of our community, we purchased a commercial coffee roaster, obtained the Specialty Coffee Association roaster certifications and began our wholesale coffee roasting business. When the pandemic hit shortly after our opening, we adapted by launching our ecommerce site and explored the possibility of opening a community coffee house. As the community's focus shifted back to local businesses as the pandemic eased, we seized the opportunity to open Warm Waves Coffee House, our first coffee house. Our love of coffee and desire to build relationships with our community and farming partners inspired us to create a welcoming space for friends, colleagues, and coffee lovers alike.
